I need a dirt bike suggestion!!!?
I have a Honda CRF150r. I took it out the other day and finally topped out 5th gear and was quite disappointed. I need a fast bike (preferably 2-stroke) that can keep up with or surpass a Honda CRF250r. The problem is my height – I’m only 5′5″. I can’t nearly sit on a 250r and have to get on a bucket just to get on the thing…LOL Any suggestions on a good, faster dirt bike? I went to a yamaha dealer that suggested a KTM 150sx but I have not looked at KTM’s and do not know whether the height of the bike would be a problem and how it holds up against other bikes/classes. I don’t want to buy something that will disappoint me in the end! I don’t want a trail bike…must be something I can race.
Ever looked into the YZ125?
If you get used to the power, get the 144 big bore kit.
If you want to go to high speed, just slap a 32 tooth rear sprocket on that thing and it will fly in 5th.
You can also adjust the suspension on it so it gets lower, cut the seat foam and so on.
