Did Kyle Busch overperform in the 5 car?
Kyle made the chase the past two season and finished 5th last year in points. Now Casey is about 20th in points. Is this the same car as last year? Kyle won the first cot race in that car last year and I am wondering if its the same equipment as Kyle had last year.
Not the same equipment. Jr is in the stuff that used to be the #5 last year. Casey Mears is in new rides and a couple of the old #25 cars he drove last year. They just switched the numbers.
I just wish I could remember where I read that. I’ll try to find the article and post a link.
I don’t think Kyle over-perfomed as much as Casey is under-performing this season. I think he’ll do better the second half of the season, though.
